1970s industrial caged bulkhead lights

Era: 1970s Origin: Germany

A substantial run of reclaimed vintage oval-shaped German bulkheads. Sensitively restored retaining their original glass and two-part steel enclosure. The authentic worn paint finish and patina on the cage, manufacturer's plaques and markings are all in testament to their previous industrial use and heritage.

Origin: Germany

German designs are famed for their clean lined and well engineered approach. The Bauhaus School played a major role in combining design with engineering during the late 1920s and early 1930s. A number of lights we salvage were influenced by Bauhaus School design. From the mid to late 20th century, Communist East Germany produced a wide variety of lights for both industrial, commercial and residential applications, often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage.

Jackson’s secret office, with the industrial caged enclosures contrasting the high-tech kit, and rustic features.
