Small yet stylish vintage pendants originally salvaged from a run of 1930s German Art Deco lights. Comprising a spun chrome-plated shade, they are ideal for suspending in clusters to create a feature piece.

Origin: Germany

German designs are famed for their clean lined and well engineered approach. The Bauhaus School played a major role in combining design with engineering during the late 1920s and early 1930s. A number of lights we salvage were influenced by Bauhaus School design. From the mid to late 20th century, Communist East Germany produced a wide variety of lights for both industrial, commercial and residential applications, often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage.

Restoration

Over the years, we’ve restored thousands of lights that would otherwise have been lost forever - examining, refurbishing and updating one part at a time. But we don’t only piece together the light’s components. We also take the time to investigate its history, studying our archive of old manufacturer’s catalogues for clues to assemble the whole story.
