Harbour House, the pub making waves in the Cornish hospitality scene, is the perfect place to find yourself on a sunny afternoon, or even a cold winter’s evening after a long walk. With its breathtaking views of Flushing harbour and warming interiors, everything about the pub welcomes you in. 

Run by Tamara Costin and William Speed of the House Group, Harbour House is the inspiration behind our Pub Perfection Collection. Focused on inviting interiors and character-driven design, this collection is all about creating the perfect pub atmosphere, and what better pub to collaborate with than our wonderful local!

Through the doors of Harbour House, guests are greeted by beautiful vintage lights in all corners. Selected to be ‘decorative as well as functional,’ the lights chosen create ‘an immediate ambiance by hanging the lights in cascading clusters’ as said by Tamara and William.

Our retro Czech bubble glass lights hang in one of the darker corners of the pub, their yellow glow bouncing off the antique wooden side table below, emulating the warm glow of the fire. On the opposite side of the pub, our retro Czech prismatic glass pendants hang in a cluster. The summer light shines through the windows, catching the etched glass to create a glittering effect, just as the sea glitters in the harbour on outside the window. Above the fireplace, our retro cross-cut diamond lights sit on the exposed brick wall. The beautifully intricate detailing on the glass contrasts the rough texture of the wall, giving the pub an abundance of character. Finally, our oxidised Hungarian factory shades hang over the kitchen pass. Arguably the most crucial part of the pub, where the wonderful creations by the chefs are handed over to be served to the guests, these 1950s lights bring the perfect touch of industrial to the transition between the kitchen and the pub.

Speaking about the collaboration, Tamara and William say: ‘The Pub Perfection Collection is a local and organic collaboration. We were keen to champion and celebrate local and best-of-British suppliers and the skinflint aesthetic perfectly chimes with the look and feel we were seeking.’
