XL opaline glass pendant lights salvaged from a hotel lobby in Prague. With a curved profile and open-bottomed design, the elegant style and design of these lights makes them real statement pendants for any circulation, living or kitchen area.

Origin: Czechoslovakia (former)

Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.

Restoration

Opaline glass provides an even glow when illuminated while the open underside will allow an enhanced downward light from the pendants. Fitted with the original white steel gallery with chrome detailing, the lights are suspended through a minimal stainless steel suspension wire.

Each light is supplied with a new screw (E27) lamp holder, 2mtrs of suspension wire, traditional silver twisted braided cable and ceiling mounting plate. (If you would prefer another colour cable or an E26 lamp holder for use in the USA, please just ask).
