Origin: Poland

Many of the products we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc were produced in Poland. As with the majority of lights designed and manufactured under Communist rule - during the period from the end of the Second World War to the fall of the Berlin wall - they are defined by a clean industrial aesthetic, with the same design often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage.

Restoration

This imposing light has a brushed and lacquered steel assemblie retaining original paint finish to the internal surface of the shade and complete with integral table clamp mechanism within base, with a maximum clamping depth of 33mm.

Rewired, tested and supplied with new linear T5 14W energy saving fluorescent (20,000 hour life) and 2 mtrs of olive green braided cable, shade mounted period toggle switch and plug.
