We salvage high volumes of industrial and decorative lighting from this landlocked former Eastern Bloc country. Hungarian industrial enamel shades are often available in blue or white, whereas the decorative glassware has more of a clean line and timeless design. In the mid to late 20th century, the Communist east produced a wide variety of lights for both industrial, commercial and residential applications often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage.

Restoration

Oxidation is just one of the restoration processes our team has perfected over the years. It creates a rich, storied patina on iron enclosures, adding warmth and a natural finish to lights that have lived industrial lives. Each enclosure is then sealed through a unique preservation technique, preventing any further ageing.

Each light is supplied with a new screw (E27) lamp holder, 2mtrs of suspension chain, 2 mtrs of elephant grey braided cable and ceiling mounting plate. If you would prefer another colour cable please just ask.
