Vintage floor standing medical lamp by Czech manufacturers 'Original Hanua'. Polished aluminum reflector and shade complete with original manufacturers plaque. Elegant brass bracket allows full adjustment at shade and stem junction.

Origin: Czechoslovakia (former)

Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.

The shade on this statement floor lamp can be raised and lowered on the chrome stem, which is mounted to a linished and lacquered steel base with original castors.

Supplied tested and rewired with traditional old gold braided cable, new screw (E27) lampholder and plug.
