Salvaged worklights from the former Czechoslovakia originally used within industrial sites across the country. With their original worn factory finish adding a lot of character and interest, these make fantastic feature lights.

Much of the lighting we salvage and restore from the former Eastern Bloc was produced in the manufacturing powerhouses of former Czechoslovakia. Under Communist rule the same design was often manufactured in three scaled versions to cater for varying bulb wattage. The country is also famed for its beautiful glassware, with both wall and ceiling opaline glass lights often being used in public and residential settings, such as housing blocks and schools.

Restoration

Every one of our lights goes through a variety of processes to bring it from the worn and often dilapidated state it arrives in, to a stage where it is ready for your project. The first and most important stage is fully dismantling each and every light - we do this even if we have hundreds of identical lights. The light comprises of a two part aluminum enclosure with a glass dome, flared protection cage with hook and it's original manufacturer's plaque and labeling.

Supplied tested and rewired with a new screw (E27) lamp holder, 2 mtrs of elephant grey braided cable and a plug.
