Sleek and simple 1950s black enamelled wall lights, salvaged from a restaurant in Amsterdam, Holland. An elliptical, wide-shaped shade and powder-coated swan neck wall bracket makes these a great choice for illumination over restaurant booths, signs in shops, or galleries and other commercial projects.

Restoration

At skinflint we are fascinated by different materials and the interesting patinas that develop on their surface with age. That’s why we tend not to repaint our lights, instead retaining their authenticity and individual character. Different materials require different restoration processes, so here ferrous metals such as steel will have a clear lacquer powder-coated onto the surface to prevent further oxidation, sealing and enhancing the look and longevity of the lights for decades more to come.
