Vintage opaline lighting in Lina Stores
We’re not sure what’s more satisfying… the beautifully colour coordinated delicatessen counter, or the three opaline globes illuminating it. Step into Lina Stores Marylebone and the interiors transport you to Italy. And it’s no wonder, Lina Stores are all about authenticity, from the fresh hand-made pasta they’ve been making since 1944, to the smell of Pecorino Romano that has us feeling hungry.
The iconic site in Wigmore Street has been transformed by Gianna Pagliarulo at Studio Itaca, bringing sophistication and a feeling of 1940s Milan. With airy high ceilings, beautiful, tactile materials and timeless detailing, it's a feast for the senses. We’re immediately tempted to the delicatessen at the back of the store, stuffed full of cured meats, antipasti and more, all illuminated from above by a row of our Period Czechoslovakian opaline pendants. Next to the counter, the large communal table is the perfect spot to grab a quick panino and coffee on the go, with our restored elegant opaline glass teardrop pendants from the 1950s suspended low overhead.
Bellissimo!
