Retro restaurant lighting at Pretty Patty
Our vintage lights have gone back to the future at this new retro-inspired neighbourhood burger joint in the heart of Geneva, Switzerland! Pretty Patty is a homage to burger restaurants both past and present, and all of us at skinflint just can’t get enough of the interiors designed by Sapid Studio in collaboration with YKRA.
Incorporating nostalgic and contemporary elements within the space, Pretty Patty is a fresh take on the classic American diner. Our original 1970s square cut ceiling lights feature in the main dining room, providing illumination to the booths and dining tables below. Following the same aesthetic, our 1970s cut glass surface-mounted lights line the walls, complementing the pendants and bringing touch of retro charm with their prismatic glass lenses. Elevating the everyday materials associated with the humble retro diner and burger joint, industrial details including chrome, alumnium and white tiling (with, surprise blue grouting) seamlessly blur the line between the open kitchen, takeaway and dining areas. It all makes for a cooler- than-cool authentic dining experience.
If you couldn’t tell, we’re massive fans. And we haven’t even started on the burgers yet…
