Vintage take away lighting at Oti'
Follow the line spilling out of the Ivy Precinct and it seems like the whole of Sydney is queuing for Oti’s rotating selection of takeaway sandwiches and pizza. It’s a hit, as you can see, with two of our Industrial LED lights by Benjamin suspended over the bustling counter, helping to oversee service. Part of the Merivale group of hip and happening venues across the city, they’re one of a growing number of Australian clients calling on our vintage lights, and we couldn’t wait to share this one with you.
Oti’ is unashamedly takeaway only. Their Roman-style pizza by the slice (so nice) and sandwiches on hand-stretched schiacciata are made fresh and fast with at least one of eight, yes eight, cheeses. Alongside daily accompaniments including suppli, pronounced supˈpli (their Roman style rice balls filled with tomato sugo sauce and gooey mozzarella), and you can really taste the appeal.
Whilst the food does nearly all of the talking at Oti’, the interior subtly transports us to the back-streets of Rome. Complete with metro tiles and strategically placed faux graffiti, our industrial lights complete the delicious aesthetic.
