Lit by skinflint: Infinite
This 2021 sci-fi film stars Mark Wahlberg as Treadway, a man diagnosed with schizophrenia due to his intense hallucinations. In reality, Treadway is an ‘infinite’, someone who remembers every single one of his past lives. Infinites are split into two groups, the believers and the nihilists. The film follows the battle between the two groups, with the nihilists wanting to end humanity to stop their reincarnation using a device called the ‘egg’.
Our lights can be spotted in the infinites ‘Hub’ set, in the laboratory. Our reclaimed German cargo ship bulkheads line the walls of the lab, whilst our vintage industrial LED lighting hangs both in the garage set, and over the operating table alongside our 1950s Eastern Bloc machinists floor lights.
Each of these pieces has a distinctly futuristic style, with their polished aluminium exteriors and original maker’s marks. Our German bulkheads are the perfect addition to this set, with their prismatic glass pulling together the industrial features of the room, whilst the 1950s floor light adds strong downlighting, echoed by the fluorescents above, and an adjustable stand to aid the surgeries below.
Whether your decorating the past, present, or future, our vintage lights will give your set the edge and authenticity you need. Get in touch at prophire@skinflintdesign.com to hire!
